BambooTalk, our
redundant and fast scalable mesh network
architecture ensures you can get where you want
to go, when you need to get there
and reliably!
With the quick and easy installation of our
wireless broadband client side antenna, your
rural home or office will rapidly be able to
access the Bamboo Telecom network.
By simply connecting our telephone adapter or
telephone to your broadband connection you will
be able to access Bamboo Telecoms Voice Over IP
network and receive and make calls
with a local access number.
The first large scale
commercially available wireless application was
the cellular phone. Next came Wi-Fi, (Wireless
Fidelity) giving us local high-speed connections
in a park, restaurant, residence or business,
but only in areas that had broadband
access. Now the next generation of wireless is
here. Fixed Wireless Internet Access brings
high-speed beyond the limits of the broadband
operator networks (Telephone Company).
Fixed Wireless Internet Access makes it possible
to bring broadband Internet access to rural
homes, businesses and communities. Multiple
homes and businesses can be connected by radio
links, which means broadband service can be
delivered to a region without having to build
copper wire or fiber optic connections to every
subscriber. This is how Bamboo Telecom brings
broadband connectivity to our different
geographical locations rapidly.
Bamboo Telecoms Fixed Wireless
system operates in the 5 Gigahertz (GHz) band of
the radio spectrum defined and authorized by the
CMT based in Barcelona. (Telecommunication
Market Commission)
Our fixed wireless system mesh base stations are
located on telecommunication and television
towers, apartment buildings and customer
homes/offices . They are placed to provide
maximum coverage within our different areas. The
base stations are connected to high-speed
fiber optic Internet connections at one end and
transmit Internet connectivity to homes and
businesses on the other end with radio links. In
order to receive the signal, a small antenna is
attached to the subscriber's home or business.
The Guadalhorce Valley alone has 23 base
stations installed that are connected to our
Data Center in the Technological Park in Malaga
and connected by fiber optic to the Internet
Backbone.
